I began in civil engineering, moved through nanotechnology and water science, and then into strategy, innovation and business. The fields changed; the question did not: how do complex systems hold together, why do they fail, and what does responsible change look like?
Growing up in Gaza shaped how I read institutions, uncertainty, power and consequences. Living and working in Europe added another layer: how ambitious ideas are translated into institutions, funding, companies and public choices.
Today I work on innovation strategy, European funding, sustainability, writing and the design of better systems for serious knowledge work. I prefer evidence to performance, clarity to jargon, and revision to false certainty.

How I Think
Serious thinking needs rules.
Evidence before allegiance
I do not begin with a conclusion and then search for ways to defend it. I begin with the problem, the evidence and the constraints.
Clarity before performance
Sophisticated language does not improve a weak idea. A good explanation makes the structure of the problem and its pressure points visible.
Revision is strength
When the facts change, a position should be able to change too. Accuracy matters more than looking permanently consistent.
